NLK Academy is a K-12 school situated in a 6 Acre site on GT Road, Mandhana, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The school is established in a building that used to house an engineering college. The college was converted into a world-class K-12 school by School Serv Designs (SSD).

SSD took up the project in November 2019 and it was prepared for launch in record time. The school was ready for launch by March 2020.

Conversion of the college into a K-12 school required a review of the master plan and architectural composition of the complex. The interior designing effort was much more intensive.

The buildings and learning spaces were repurposed and several courses for industrial and professional studies were introduced to utilize the ample number of rooms in the building.

The Academy is a co-educational boarding school that is planned to accommodate 3000 students (2300 Day scholars, 700 hostlers).

The architectural effort of School Serv Designs was aimed at overcoming the challenges posed by the existing infrastructure with many features that were not contemporary.

The Academy has smart classrooms, laboratories, library, auditorium and sports facilities. The element of inclusive education makes the academy exclusive and the infrastructure has been designed accordingly.

There are Innovative laboratories for Design Thinking, Robotics, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and science.

The additional features include state of the art Visual Art Studio, Dance Studio, Music Studio and Theater and an Auditorium.

Additional courses for which the infrastructure is prepared to include Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Entrepreneurship, Media, Literature, DIY Labs & Clubs, Photography, Hospitality, AgriLab, Mechatronics, Paper Recycling.
